Immunizations for cats and dogs has successfully lowered the risk of disease for our pets. At Seminole Trail Animal Hospital, we believe in only vaccinating pets with what they actually need.  Some vaccines are only given every 3 years while others require yearly boosters to maintain protection. We consider your pets lifestyle and age when recommending vaccines.  

Along with immunizations, we recommend bringing your pet in for a yearly wellness exam. For the exam, your pet will be medically assessed by one of our doctors. We look at your pet's eyes, ears, and skin; we check their cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems for any abnormalities. We will perform blood and/or urine tests as necessary to check your pet's kidneys, liver, pancreas, and endocrine system, including the thyroid and adrenal glands.
